Klok is the restaurant at the Onomo Inn on the Square, and its terrace looks straight onto Greenmarket Square — one of the few places in the CBD where you can eat outdoors above the market rather than beside it. The kitchen works an Afrofusion menu with a South African wine list, and there is usually live entertainment. The walls carry rotating exhibitions of local art, which is what puts a hotel restaurant on a gallery route. It is operated by the Onomo group rather than independently owned. Greenmarket Square sits at the centre of the CBD's First Thursdays footprint. Klok takes part in First Thursdays, the CBD's late-opening evening on the first Thursday of every month.
